‘John Wick’ Universe Character Stills Released!

The ‘John Wick’ universe action blockbuster <Ballerina> is set to hit theaters on August 6, unveiling character stills and introducing beloved original cast members alongside new faces. Starring action genius Ana de Armas, <Ballerina> follows Eve (Ana de Armas), who grows into a killer within the assassin organization Ruska Roma, as she encounters the legendary killer John Wick (Keanu Reeves) while seeking the truth for her father's revenge, leading to a bloody war in a mysterious city dominated by killers.

The nine character stills released this time prove that <Ballerina> shares the world and settings of the ‘John Wick’ universe, introducing familiar original characters and new figures with fresh appeal to series fans. First, star actress Ana de Armas, who captivated the world as the Bond girl CIA agent in <No Time to Die>, plays Eve, another face of revenge that follows ‘John Wick’ and a new killer. Additionally, Keanu Reeves, who led the ‘John Wick’ series, returns as the legendary killer ‘John Wick’ with a bounty of $14 million, showcasing the connection to <John Wick 3: Parabellum>. Also, the stills of Ian McShane as Winston, the manager of the Continental New York, and the late Lance Reddick, who was beloved as concierge Charon, evoke nostalgia for series fans with their familiar backgrounds.

Meanwhile, the new characters also catch the eye. Gabriel Byrne, transformed into Chancellor, a powerful figure ruling over killers, and Norman Reedus, who plays the mysterious assassin Pine from <The Walking Dead>, stimulate curiosity about the existence of killers chasing and being chased by Eve.
