Ahn Hyo-seop and Lee Min-ho Star in 〈Omniscient Reader: The Prophet〉, Sold to 113 Countries

The fantasy action movie 〈Omniscient Reader: The Prophet〉, based on the web novel of the same name, has been pre-sold to 113 countries including the United States, Japan, Canada, and Germany, as announced by the distributor Lotte Entertainment on the 17th.

This film deals with the story that unfolds as the world of the novel, serialized for over 10 years, is brought to life. It depicts the adventures of the protagonist, who was a reader of the novel, as he suddenly falls into the world of the story.

Directed by Kim Byung-woo, who helmed the films 〈The Terror Live〉 (2013) and 〈PMC: The Bunker〉 (2018), the film stars Ahn Hyo-seop and Lee Min-ho, with supporting roles played by Chae Soo-bin, Shin Seung-ho, Nana, and Jisoo from the girl group BLACKPINK, drawing attention.

Looking at the overseas release schedule, it will premiere in Taiwan on the 23rd, followed by Indonesia on the 30th. It will then be released sequentially in Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, and Australia on the 31st.

In South Korea, it will meet audiences in theaters nationwide on the 23rd.
