Actor Yoon Kyung-ho expressed his feelings about taking on a professional role in the movie 〈Zombie Daughter〉 following his role in the Netflix series 〈The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call〉.
On the afternoon of the 21st, a press conference for the movie 〈Zombie Daughter〉 was held at Megabox COEX, attended by actors Jo Jung-seok, Lee Jung-eun, Jo Yeo-jeong, Yoon Kyung-ho, Choi Yu-ri, and director Pil Gam-seong, where they discussed the film. 〈Zombie Daughter〉 is a comedic drama about a father who undergoes secret training to protect his daughter, who has become the last remaining zombie in the world, and Yoon Kyung-ho plays the role of Dong-bae, a pharmacist and childhood friend of Jung-hwan (Jo Jung-seok) who joins the zombie daughter training.
Yoon Kyung-ho, who received great love earlier this year as 'Hangbully' in the Netflix series 〈The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call〉, shared his concerns about the pressure of a sequel during the press conference. He candidly expressed, "I received a lot of love earlier this year because many people liked 〈The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call〉. While it was nice, I also had worries about how to follow up with my next project."
Regarding his feelings about taking on the role of a pharmacist in 〈Zombie Daughter〉 after being a doctor, he said, "When would I ever get to play such roles as a pharmacist or a doctor?" He added, "It was a job I could never have imagined as a child. I thought I would never get close to it." He particularly recalled, "I always played roles outside the palace even in historical dramas. Even when I wore a suit, I only wore dark colors. I never had a white-collar job," which brought laughter to the audience.
The movie 〈Zombie Daughter〉 is set to be released on the 30th.
