The two leads from 〈Gyeongju Travel〉 have joined the 〈Conclave〉 Barrier-Free Version.
(Nonprofit) the Barrier-Free Film Committee announced the production of a Barrier-Free Version of the film 〈Conclave〉 and said that director Kim Mi-jo of 〈Gyeongju Travel〉 and actor Park So-dam will participate in the project. 〈Conclave〉 is a thriller film that takes on the story surrounding the “conclave,” held to elect a new pope after the death of the pope, and the various bishops who take part.
For this 〈Conclave〉 Barrier-Free Version, director Kim Mi-jo and lead actor Park So-dam of 〈Gyeongju Travel〉, which is set for release in August, are participating. Director Kim Mi-jo said, “I hope that audiences who meet this work in their own different ways will feel the tension and lingering aftereffects of the story firsthand. I put care into translating the texture of each and every scene. It was a very meaningful time to work together on this precious project, 〈Conclave〉, which offers not only genre fun but also deep discussion, and to deliver it to more people without barriers.”
Park So-dam said, “Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to take part in such a meaningful project. I sincerely hope that every film can be produced in a Barrier-Free Version. This project was both enjoyable and meaningful for me as well.” The 〈Conclave〉 Barrier-Free Version will be available for community screenings and viewing applications starting in September after mixing and working on barrier-free subtitles.
