A new drama highlighting the lives of bus guides in the 1980s is coming to the small screen.

On the 8th, JTBC announced that the new weekend drama 〈Hundred Memories〉 starring Kim Da-mi and Shin Ye-eun will begin airing on the 13th of next month. This work aims to depict the social conditions and youth of the time through the stories of bus guides, a unique profession in Korean society over 40 years ago.

In the drama, Kim Da-mi plays the eldest daughter, Ko Young-rae, who is responsible for her family's livelihood while not giving up on her dream of attending university. Shin Ye-eun portrays the lively and charismatic bus guide, Seo Jong-hee.

〈Hundred Memories〉 is set against the backdrop of the 1980s, recreating the street scenes and social atmosphere of Korea 40 years ago, and plans to capture the youthful romance of that era. It is expected to shed light on the social conditions and human relationships of the time through the profession of bus guides, who collected fares and assisted passengers in getting off.

The script is written by Yang Hee-seung, known for 〈Crash Course in Romance〉 and 〈Oh My Ghost〉. The direction is handled by PD Kim Sang-ho, known for 〈Thirty-Nine〉.
