Spider-Man as a Webtoon? Naver X Disney Partnership Established

Naver Webtoon and Disney have established a partnership.

Naver Webtoon’s U.S. headquarters Webtoon Entertainment announced on the 12th (local time) that it has signed a global content partnership with The Walt Disney Company. With this partnership, Naver Webtoon will introduce Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and 20th Century Studios' representative works in a webtoon style.

As part of this partnership, a dedicated Disney section will be created within the English app of Naver Webtoon’s global platform 'Webtoon'. Following this, popular works such as 'The Amazing Spider-Man', 'Avengers', 'Star Wars', 'Alien', and 'A Very Old Story' will be showcased first, followed by original works that are in preparation.

Kim Yong-soo, head of Naver Webtoon’s global webtoon business, stated, "Collaboration with Disney is just the beginning, and Naver Webtoon will take the lead in making it easy for fans around the world to enjoy beloved stories anytime, anywhere in partnership with Disney."
