
Actress Im Soo-jung shared her thoughts on the renewed interest in her representative work 〈I'm Sorry, I Love You〉.
On the afternoon of the 19th, at a location in Jongno-gu, Seoul, actress Im Soo-jung met with Cineplay to discuss the recently concluded Disney+ series 〈Low Life〉, as well as her acting philosophy.
On this day, Im Soo-jung candidly expressed her feelings about her acting career and her unforgettable representative work 〈I'm Sorry, I Love You〉. Im Soo-jung said, "If I could time slip back 20 years, I could do 'I'm Sorry, I Love You' (〈I'm Sorry, I Love You〉) better," and added, "There are actors who can see their performances well in their works and past works. But when I look at what I did, I only see my shortcomings." Im Soo-jung continued, "(If I watch 'I'm Sorry, I Love You' again) I can see the lacking parts in my acting, so if I could time slip and use my current acting experience, I could do it better."
Im Soo-jung played the ambitious character 'Yang Jeong-sook' in the recently concluded Disney+ series 〈Low Life〉, aiming to expand her acting spectrum. The Disney+ series 〈Low Life〉 is based on the webtoon 'Fine' by writer Yoon Tae-ho, depicting the story of hardworking villagers who deceive and are deceived in their quest for a sunken treasure ship buried in the sea in 1977. 〈Low Life〉 concluded with its 11th episode on the 13th (Wednesday).
