From Day One T1-DK! LCK, Securing Worlds Entry and Championship Through Playoffs

The 2025 League of Legends Champions Korea (2025 LCK) will enter the playoffs starting September 10.

The 2025 LCK, which opened in April, has progressed through the regular round and play-in to reach the playoffs. Through the regular round, Gen.G Esports, Hanwha Life Esports, T1, and KT Rolster have secured their spots in the winners' bracket, while Dplus Kia and BNK PIERX joined the playoffs based on the play-in results.

This playoff is divided into winners' and losers' brackets, and a team that joins the losers' bracket with one loss will be eliminated immediately if they lose again. The matches scheduled are T1 vs. Dplus Kia on September 10 and KT Rolster vs. BNK PIERX on the 11th. Depending on the outcomes of these matches, the winners will face either Gen.G Esports or Hanwha Life Esports, who are waiting in the second round.

The 2025 LCK playoffs are particularly highly anticipated, as the finals on September 28 will be broadcast live in full by MBC. Having lifted the championship trophy at the 2024 Worlds, it is expected that the results of this final will significantly impact the perception of esports.
