Idol star and taekwondo athlete Jo Soo-min and Kim Dong-han's coming-of-age film 〈Replay〉 has confirmed its release in October. Director Hwang Kyung-sung's new team-up movie 〈Replay〉 has confirmed its release in October and has captured attention by unveiling three launch stills. The film 〈Replay〉 tells the story of an idol star embroiled in a scandal, an injured taekwondo prospect, and the life-changing showdown of a motley crew of hobby class students.

〈Replay〉 is the latest work of director Hwang Kyung-sung, who has proven his excellent directing skills through various platforms, depicting youth romance in films like 〈The Uncanny Encounter〉 and 〈Time of Memories〉, as well as the upcoming short-form drama 〈Coding of Love: Death's Time Loop〉 set to be released on the 15th. Jo Soo-min, who made a mark on the public as Min Seol-ah in the 〈Penthouse〉 series, transforms her acting in 〈Replay〉 where she plays the role of K-POP idol star 'Eun-chae', following her collaboration with director Hwang Kyung-sung in the drama 〈Marry You〉. The role of 'Hee-chan', a taekwondo instructor who was a national prospect, is played by Kim Dong-han from the idol group WEi, who is expected to showcase taekwondo action without a stunt double, utilizing his skills as a former hapkido athlete. Additionally, the role of 'Soo-yeol', Hee-chan's rival and Eun-chae's ex-boyfriend, is cast with Son Tae-yang, who gained attention for his charming villain role in the drama 〈Lovers〉, adding tension to the film.

〈Replay〉 is a coming-of-age drama that highlights the diverse characters of the 'Son Taekwondo' hobby class students who, despite their individual struggles, demonstrate teamwork with the goal of winning a taekwondo competition. Kim Gang-hyun, who appears again as the star's manager 'Jung Manager' following his role in 〈My Love from the Star〉, also collaborates with director Hwang Kyung-sung for the second time after 〈Marry You〉. Seo Ho-cheol, who boasts athletic talent with a boxing professional debut, plays the role of 'Jo Bong-nam', a delivery driver from a gangster background, while Son Hwa-ryeong, who has provided delightful laughs in 〈Citizen Deok-hee〉 and 〈Roller Coaster〉, delivers a stellar performance as the chatty housewife 'Su-ji'. Additionally, rising Chungmuro star Jo Gang-hyeok appears as the rookie YouTuber 'Soo-geun', and Maria, a trot singer who was the first foreigner to reach the TOP7 of the 〈Current King of Singers〉 in the history of Korean audition programs, is set to make her screen debut as the exchange student 'Jennifer' with fluent Korean skills, generating excitement. The film 〈Replay〉, which promises a youth romance drawn by a director specializing in idol narratives, along with the shining laughter and emotions of the motley crew of hobby class students, is set to be released in October.
