The new tvN Saturday-Sunday drama 〈Typhoon Family〉 (directed by Lee Na Jung and Kim Dong Hwi, written by Jang Hyun, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by Imaginas and Studio PIC and Tree Studio) depicts the struggles of rookie businessman ‘Kang Tae Poong’, who became the president of a trading company with no employees, money, or products during the 1997 IMF crisis. Lee Junho plays ‘Kang Tae Poong’, who transforms from a youth enjoying wealth and freedom into a president bearing the lives of his employees during the IMF crisis, while Kim Min Ha plays ‘Oh Mi Seon’, who builds her career from the brain of Typhoon Family to a professional businessman, depicting a hot and fierce survival story as they confront the crisis head-on.

And today (12th), the 〈Typhoon Family〉 team released images of the scene where Kang Tae Poong and Oh Mi Seon first meet in 1997. However, the place where the two are together is not the company but a subway station. The typhoon, who was dozing off with cosmos in his arms, suddenly lowers his head and leans his face on Mi Seon’s shoulder. Mi Seon’s surprised expression at the unexpected contact and the distance between the two characters, who do not yet know each other, creates an interesting tension.
