
Apple TV+ set an all-time record with a total of 22 awards at the 77th Emmy Awards, with 〈The Studio〉(The Studio) being the most awarded series of the year and the most awarded new comedy series in Emmy history, while 〈Severance〉(Severance) won in 8 categories, making it the most awarded drama series of the year. The spy thriller 〈Slow Horses〉(Slow Horses) won the directing award in the drama series category for its fourth season.

The new comedy series 〈The Studio〉 achieved a remarkable feat by winning the Outstanding Comedy Series award, followed by Seth Rogen winning the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series award, and also winning the Outstanding Writing and Outstanding Directing awards in the comedy series category. Additionally, it won the Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series award for Bryan Cranston, the Outstanding Cinematography for a Series (30 minutes), the Outstanding Contemporary Costume Design for a Series, the Outstanding Editing for a Comedy Series (Single Camera), the Outstanding Music Direction, the Outstanding Sound Editing for a Comedy/Drama Series (30 minutes), and the Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy/Drama Series (30 minutes) and Animation, totaling a record of 13 awards.

The highly anticipated return of 〈Severance〉 for its second season achieved 8 awards. Tramel Tilman won the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series award, and Britt Lower won the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series award, marking their first Emmy wins. At the previously held Creative Arts Emmys, Merritt Wever won the Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series award, the Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Contemporary Program (1 hour), the Outstanding Cinematography for a Series (1 hour), the Outstanding Original Dramatic Score Composition for a Series, the Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy/Drama Series (1 hour), and the Outstanding Title Design award. Last year’s winner of the Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series award, 〈Slow Horses〉, won the directing award in the drama series category for its fourth season.
