〈731〉 will meet Korean audiences in December.

The film 〈731〉 depicts the stories of victims who were subjected to biological experiments by the Japanese Army's Unit 731 during World War II. Known in Korea by the slang term 'Maruta' (log), which refers to experimental subjects, Unit 731 conducted biological experiments on Chinese, Koreans, Russians, and others.

Produced in China and released on September 18, 〈731〉 has successfully achieved both box office success and social impact within China. On its opening day, it surpassed 300 million yuan in box office records, overtaking the previous record held by 〈Nezha 2〉. As 〈731〉 performs well at the box office, there is a resurgence of interest in Japan's past atrocities, leading to an increase in anti-Japanese sentiment within China.

Meanwhile, 〈731〉 announced its release schedule in Korea on September 25. Although there were reports of a November release, it is ultimately aiming for a December release.
