〈Vampire Hunter D〉 has released stills in celebration of its first official release in Korea.
〈Vampire Hunter D〉 is a dark fantasy animation depicting the lonely journey of D, a being between humans and vampires, which was released in Japan in 2000. Based on the novel series of the same name by Hideyuki Kikuchi, this animation captured the allure of dark fantasy and gained significant popularity upon its release.
After its local release, it was screened at the Busan International Film Festival, hinting at a Korean release, but it did not lead to an official release at that time. Recently, it was announced that the remastered version will officially release in Korea on the 11th and 12th.
The stills of 〈Vampire Hunter D〉 released alongside the official announcement showcase the detailed animation and atmosphere of the work. Directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri, with animation direction by Yutaka Minowa and music by Italian film composer Marco D'Ambrosio, the legendary lineup of 〈Vampire Hunter D〉 can be experienced more vividly than ever.
