The alternative pop band Lee Nal-chi is set to captivate the public once again with the release of their regular album reinterpreting the pansori 'Heungbo'. Following their previous work 'Sugungga', this album aims to harmonize tradition and modernity and will be released on various music platforms on the 6th at 6 PM.
'Heungbo' is an album produced by the band Lee Nal-chi based on the pansori of the same name. After the 2020 album 'Sugungga', they are once again creating an album based on pansori. This album includes a total of 12 tracks, presenting the colorful stories of Heungbo in Lee Nal-chi's unique musical style.
The album features tracks such as 'Pour It Out and Pour It Out', which vividly depicts the scene of Heungbo's rice planting, and the pre-released song 'Go Live', which captures the humorous atmosphere of Heungbo. In particular, the title track 'Do You Know the Three Principles of Human Relations?' humorously portrays the first appearance of Nolbo and cleverly introduces his various misdeeds.
In this album, Lee Nal-chi actively utilizes rhythms inspired by 1970s music and unique synthesizer sounds to reinterpret the familiar story in a fresh way.
Formed in 2019, Lee Nal-chi gained public attention by presenting unique dance music based on old tales. Their hit song 'The Tiger Is Coming' won three awards, including 'Musician of the Year' at the 2021 Korean Popular Music Awards, recognizing their musicality. Recently, they have expanded their activities by participating in the OST of the tvN drama
Lee Nal-chi will hold a release celebration concert at the Nodul Island Live House in Seoul on the 7th to directly communicate with their fans.
