
The new season of the Apple TV documentary series 〈Prehistoric Planet〉, which has been praised for vividly depicting the majestic landscapes and wondrous creatures of ancient Earth, titled 〈Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age〉, is set to premiere on November 26 (Wednesday) and has released a trailer.
〈Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age〉 is a grand documentary series that tells the stories of Ice Age creatures struggling to survive in extreme climates. Produced by BBC Studios, known for high-quality nature documentaries including 〈Planet Earth〉, 〈Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age〉 features narration by Golden Globe and Olivier Award-winning actor Tom Hiddleston, and legendary composer Hans Zimmer, an Academy Award winner, contributing to the score, drawing attention. The newly released trailer showcases the vast snowy landscapes of the Ice Age a million years ago, featuring animals never seen before, set against the backdrop of the Pleistocene era, millions of years after the extinction of the dinosaurs. Creatures such as the woolly mammoth and dire wolf, along with the woolly rhinoceros, saber-toothed cat, Arctotherium, and Doedicurus, are brought to life based on recent scientific evidence discovered in permafrost through 〈Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age〉.
〈Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age〉 consists of a total of 5 episodes and is scheduled to be released on November 26 (Wednesday) via Apple TV.
