The movie 〈Solo Prince〉 is set to be released in Korea on November 19 and has unveiled 'street stills'. 〈Solo Prince〉 is a survival comedy romance film featuring the Asian Prince ‘Kang Jun-woo’ (Lee Kwang-soo) who is left alone in a foreign land without a manager, passport, or a penny.
In 〈Solo Prince〉, Lee Kwang-soo plays the role of the Asian Prince ‘Kang Jun-woo’ who is left alone in an unfamiliar place, showcasing his comedic acting that is both trustworthy and humorous. ‘Kang Jun-woo’ is a superstar loved across Asia, but he faces a series of crises due to the rise of a new star threatening his throne and the cancellation of his anticipated next project. As loneliness and anxiety creep in behind the glamorous spotlight, he suddenly declares a ‘solo vacation’ while visiting abroad for a commercial shoot. The unpredictable events that unfold before the superstar, who temporarily escapes from the dazzling stage and complicated life, will be completed into a delightful and relatable story through Lee Kwang-soo's irreplaceable and fitting performance, promising to bring laughter.
Director Kim Sung-hoon of 〈Solo Prince〉 stated, “I thought that Lee Kwang-soo was an actor who fits well with the character image of the Asian Prince ‘Kang Jun-woo’ in a comedic way, so I proposed it to him from the initial planning stage,” revealing that the start of 〈Solo Prince〉 was Lee Kwang-soo. Additionally, the unique chemistry and relationships created by various actors including Eom Moon-seok as ‘Jung Han-cheol’, Hwang Ha as ‘Tao’, and Jo Woo-jin, Yoo Jae-myung, Kang Ha-neul, and Yoo Sun further enhance the film's charm.
