〈Jumanji〉 Series' new film has announced its return with behind-the-scenes stills.
The 〈Jumanji〉 series, which began with the 1995 film, features a mysterious game that summons players to a strange jungle the moment it starts. The 1995 version appeared as a board game, but from the 2017 film onward, it has been depicted as a video game. The sequel, featuring new protagonists, 〈Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle〉, continued with the third installment, 〈Jumanji: The Next Level〉.
Afterward, news of a sequel was scarce, but reports have emerged that production for the fourth and final installment of the series will officially begin in 2024. On November 19, 2025 (local time), photos of the four lead actors on the set of the new 〈Jumanji〉 were released, confirming that the new film is in production. The photos captured the friendly atmosphere of Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Karen Gillan, and Kevin Hart.
This new 〈Jumanji〉 film will once again be directed by Jake Kasdan, who directed the second and third installments. It is scheduled to be released around December 2026.
