Actor Park Seo-joon shared his thoughts on working with Won Ji-an in JTBC 〈Waiting for Gyeongdo〉.
The new JTBC weekend drama 〈Waiting for Gyeongdo〉, which will premiere on December 6, tells the romance of Lee Gyeongdo (Park Seo-joon) and Seo Ji-woo (Won Ji-an), who reunite as the wife of the scandal's protagonist and the reporter who reported on their affair after having two relationships and breaking up.
Park Seo-joon recalled his first impression of Won Ji-an, saying, "I was curious and had high expectations about who would play the role of Ji-woo from the casting stage, and when I first met actress Won Ji-an, she had the exact feeling of Ji-woo that I had imagined, which gave me more confidence in the project." He also added that 〈Waiting for Gyeongdo〉 is "a work with many emotional scenes, so we filmed while trusting and relying on each other."
Won Ji-an shared behind-the-scenes insights, saying, "On set, I often discussed with the director and senior Park Seo-joon about how to portray the scenes. There were times when I felt physically and emotionally drained while leading the intense story, but I remember how well the senior took care of me during those times."
The new JTBC weekend drama 〈Waiting for Gyeongdo〉 will premiere on December 6 at 10:40 PM.
