Disney+’s new series 〈Made in Korea〉 has released character stills showcasing the actors' passionate performances.

〈Made in Korea〉 is a political espionage story set against the backdrop of South Korea in the 1970s, a time of chaos and upheaval, depicting Baek Gi-tae (Hyun Bin) who aims to rise to the pinnacle of wealth and power by turning the nation into a profit model, and prosecutor Jang Geon-young (Jung Woo-sung) who relentlessly pursues him to the edge with a terrifying obsession, facing monumental events that define the era.

The nine released press stills capture the intense appearances of Hyun Bin, who is consumed by desire, and the characters intertwined around him, grabbing attention. Hyun Bin’s portrayal as the chief of the Central Intelligence Agency, dressed in a suit while concealing his gaze and surveying his surroundings, raises curiosity about what schemes he is planning amidst the boiling desire. Jung Woo-sung, engrossed in eavesdropping while tracking a criminal organization, reveals his strong obsession with the investigation, drawing interest in what steps he will take next. In particular, the sight of the two facing each other foreshadows a direct confrontation where desire and obsession collide, heightening the tension.

〈Made in Korea〉 is the first OTT series directed by Woo Min-ho, who directed films such as 〈The Insider〉, 〈The Chief of Namsan〉, and 〈Harbin〉. The Disney+ original series 〈Made in Korea〉 will premiere on December 24, with two episodes released on December 24, two episodes on December 31, one episode on January 7, and one episode on January 14.
