The movie 〈Boy〉 has confirmed its theatrical release in January 2026.

Starring Jo Byeong-kyu, Yoo In-soo, Genie, and Seo In-guk, the film 〈Boy〉 has been officially invited to the 35th Spain Pancinema Fantastic Film Festival and will be screened as a world premiere, confirming its theatrical release in January 2026. The Spain Pancinema Fantastic Film Festival is organized by the University of Malaga in Spain and showcases a variety of fantastic genres including fantasy, sci-fi, horror, adventure, thriller, mystery, action, and animation. Films such as Park Chan-wook's 〈Decision to Leave〉, Han Jae-rim's 〈Emergency Declaration〉, and Lee Jung-jae's 〈Hunt〉 have also been invited.

Directed by Lee Sang-deok, 〈Boy〉 is set in a fictional city called 'Pogu City', depicting a near-future dystopia where a single love shakes everything in a neo-pop noir style. Director Lee Sang-deok, who debuted with the film 〈The Women〉 (2017), received critical acclaim with his second work 〈Wonderful Days〉, winning the Best Film Award at the Bucheon Fantastic Film Festival.
