The Crisis of Earth, and the New Humanity? 'The Great Flood' Main Trailer Released

Netflix has released the main trailer for 〈The Great Flood〉 to celebrate the end of the year.

〈The Great Flood〉 is the new work of director Kim Byung-woo, who directed 〈The Terror Live〉 and 〈All Readers Perspective〉, featuring Kim Da-mi and Park Hae-soo. Set on the last day of Earth engulfed by the flood, it depicts the struggle of those who bet on the last hope for humanity while trapped in a submerged apartment. It was screened at the 2025 Busan International Film Festival.

The main trailer released on December 4 focuses on the crisis of the great flood hitting Earth, showcasing the conflict between Anna (Kim Da-mi), who is searching for her son Jae-in (Kwon Eun-sung), and Hee-jo (Park Hae-soo), who must rescue him at all costs. In particular, it evokes tension from the flood rushing into the apartment and curiosity about the mention of 'new humanity'.

〈The Great Flood〉 will be released on Netflix on December 19.
