〈No Other Choice〉 has been selected by Rolling Stone

The American music magazine 'Rolling Stone' announced its selection of the 20 best films of 2025 on December 1 (local time). In the article, 〈No Other Choice〉 ranked 7th. It stood out as the only Korean film on this list.

〈No Other Choice〉 is the latest film by director Park Chan-wook, which deals with a man who, after being fired from a long-standing paper company, eliminates competitors to secure a new job. It is adapted from Donald E. Westlake's 「The Ax」, featuring Lee Byung-hun, Son Ye-jin, Park Hee-soon, Lee Sung-min, Yeom Hye-ran, and Cha Seung-won.

Since its premiere in the competition section of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival, it has received acclaim at various film festivals, drawing global attention. It won the Audience Award at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival and Best Director at the Sitges Film Festival. It was released domestically on September 24 and is scheduled to be released in North America on December 25, 2025.
