The agency of broadcaster Jo Se-ho (43) announced through SNS that the rumors of his association with organized crime are "clearly false" and warned of legal action without leniency.

Jo Se-ho's agency A2Z Entertainment stated in an official statement on the 5th, "The claim that Jo Se-ho was directly or indirectly involved in organized crime activities is merely the unilateral speculation of the informant and is completely different from the facts."

The agency emphasized, "The suspicion that Jo Se-ho received money or expensive gifts from a specific individual is also baseless speculation, and we clarify that there are no entanglements of any interests."

Recently, a revealing post mentioning Jo Se-ho appeared on an SNS account and quickly spread through online communities. The author of the post, known as Mr. A, claimed that the man in a photo taken with Jo Se-ho is a key figure in organized crime who operates multiple illegal online gambling sites. He also raised unverified suspicions that Jo Se-ho promoted a franchise business owned by this man and received expensive gifts in return.

The agency stated, "We are actively considering strong legal action against the informant for defamation and obstruction of business due to the dissemination of false information."

Meanwhile, Jo Se-ho debuted as a comedian in the SBS 6th public recruitment in 2001 and is currently active in many popular entertainment programs such as KBS 2TV 〈1 Night 2 Days〉 Season 4 and tvN 〈You Quiz on the Block〉. He received much blessing when he held a wedding with a non-celebrity 9 years younger than him last year.
