Park Na-rae, Former Manager Files Counterclaim for 'Extortion Allegations'... Confronting Abuse and Embezzlement Controversy

In response to the so-called 'abuse lawsuit' from former managers, comedian Park Na-rae has launched a strong counterclaim for extortion allegations.

A representative from Park Na-rae's side stated on the 6th that they submitted a complaint against former managers A and B for extortion at the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul.

Park Na-rae's side claims that the former managers threatened them based on false assertions and demanded a large sum of money.

The agency, Anpark, also stated in an official statement the day before, "After receiving severance pay, they demanded an amount equivalent to 10% of the previous year's sales."

This counterclaim is a response to the legal actions taken by the former managers.

Previously, former managers A and B filed a lawsuit against Park Na-rae for special injury and reported her for violating the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes (embezzlement), claiming she misused company funds for personal use, including for her ex-boyfriend.

Park Na-rae's side strongly refuted the embezzlement allegations, calling them "clearly false facts."

Instead, they stated, "The former managers established a personal corporation, and we have confirmed that funds were siphoned off under the pretext of an agency from that corporation," and are currently reviewing the scale of damages and collecting materials to file a counterclaim for embezzlement.

Additionally, regarding the additional allegations that Park Na-rae received illegal medical services, they clarified that she received nutritional supplements from a licensed physician, indicating that there are no legal issues.
