
The Hollywood master Rob Reiner, who created the romantic comedy bible 'When Harry Met Sally' and the masterpiece 'Misery', was found dead at home with his wife. The police have begun an investigation, leaning towards the possibility of foul play.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and fire authorities on the 15th (local time), Rob Reiner (78) and his wife Michelle Singer Reiner (68) were found dead at their home located on Chadbourne Avenue in Brentwood, LA at around 3:38 PM.

Initially responding to a medical assistance request, authorities confirmed the horrific situation at the scene and immediately launched an investigation. LAPD Deputy Chief Allen Hamilton officially announced at a press conference, "We are investigating this incident as a homicide."
Multiple foreign media outlets reported, citing sources at the scene, that signs of stabbing were found on the bodies of the two individuals. The police stated that they are currently conducting a forensic investigation with a search warrant, and no suspects have been identified yet.
The bereaved family expressed their grief in a statement, saying, "We are heartbroken over the sudden and tragic passing of Michelle and Rob."

In particular, he had announced his return to directing after eight years by taking the helm of the sequel to his debut film, 'Spinal Tap II', earlier this year, and was expected to be active in the popular drama 'The Bear', adding to the sadness of his passing.
