‘Lai’, who will stop at nothing to buy the house of his dreams, is depicted in the house horror 〈Dream Home〉 which has confirmed its release date on January 28 (Wednesday) and has unveiled two visually chilling teaser posters. The released teaser posters are overwhelming with images of Hong Kong's unique high-rise building complexes filling the entire poster. The visual, which provides a suffocating sense of pressure, features the copy phrases “To live in this crazy city, you must go crazy together” and “The dream home is completed with blood,” hinting at a story that reverses the background of the safest space, ‘home’, stimulating curiosity. Additionally, 〈Dream Home〉 has gained attention at various international film festivals, including an invitation to the Midnight Passion section of the Busan International Film Festival, winning Best Actress at the Sitges Catalonia International Film Festival, and being nominated for Best Visual Effects at the Golden Horse Awards.

Director Peng Haoxiang, who won the Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival for 〈Isabella〉, takes the megaphone to present a new horror based on shocking true events. It is inspired by the rampant real estate issues in Hong Kong, reflecting the suffering of the common people who faced a hellish life due to the skyrocketing real estate prices in the late 2000s. The film 〈Dream Home〉, which caused a sensation in the Hong Kong film industry, portrays the protagonist's mad journey toward home ownership with grotesque direction and sophisticated storytelling that transcends the past and present, adding twists and immersion to the protagonist's narrative. The teaser poster, themed around the other side of the brilliant city of Hong Kong, hints at a chilling experience, announcing the arrival of hard gore that will hit in 2026. 〈Dream Home〉 will be released on January 28 (Wednesday).
