'Spring Fever' Lee Joo-bin, "Practiced Writing on the Board for the Role of a High School Ethics Teacher"

Actress Lee Joo-bin gave hints about the new drama 〈Spring Fever〉.

The new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama 〈Spring Fever〉, which is set to premiere on January 5, 2026, is a hot pink romance that will melt the frozen hearts of school teacher Yoon Bom (Lee Joo-bin) and the passionate man Seon Jae-kyu (Ahn Bo-hyun) amidst the biting cold. Lee Joo-bin plays the role of the mysterious high school teacher Yoon Bom, who arouses the curiosity of the villagers. Once popular and loved in Seoul due to her natural talent, Yoon Bom closes her heart after a shocking incident and moves to a small school in the countryside.

Regarding her character Yoon Bom, Lee Joo-bin stated, "Yoon Bom is a mysterious teacher who came to a rural school with her heart closed. On the outside, she appears calm, but inside, she carries wounds and loneliness. As a multidimensional character where darkness and brightness coexist, I focused on delicately adjusting the tone of her emotions."

Taking on the role of a teacher in this work, Lee Joo-bin said, "I practiced writing on the board a lot to appear natural in the classroom scenes. Since I have to write while delivering lines, I paid attention to the movement of my hands, my gaze, and the rhythm of my speech to ensure they flowed naturally, and I carefully refined my tone and gestures to feel like a real teacher in my interactions with the students," adding to the anticipation for her transformation into a teacher.
