〈Avengers: Doomsday〉 has released a new trailer announcing Thor's return.
〈Avengers: Doomsday〉 unveiled the 'Thor' trailer on December 31. Following the release of the 'Steve Rogers' trailer in mid-December, which announced the return of 'Captain America' in the film, this time it has officially confirmed Thor's joining.
The trailer captures the scene of the omnipotent god of thunder 'Thor' praying to his father 'Odin' with a desperation never seen before, instantly drawing attention. Kneeling before a tree before a massive battle, he whispers, "Grant me the strength of my ancestors. So that I can fight once more, to defeat the enemy just one more time and return to that child." His desperate voice reveals the human side of 'Thor', who must survive as a father of a child, not as a god or a hero, delivering a profound resonance.
Furthermore, the image of 'Thor' building a true family bond with 'Love', the daughter of the destructive villain 'Gorr' who threatens the entire universe in 〈Thor: Love and Thunder〉, suggests that this work will showcase deeper and more serious emotional lines than ever before, sparking curiosity. Additionally, the overwhelming presence of 'Doctor Doom', who has made him tremble with fear, also raises expectations for the film.
Scheduled for theatrical release in December 2026, 〈Avengers: Doomsday〉 is raising anticipation once again with a glamorous lineup including Robert Downey Jr. returning as 'Doctor Doom', along with Chris Hemsworth as 'Thor' and Chris Evans as 'Captain America'.
