The image of the late Ahn Sung-ki, with kind eyes and a gentle smile, was taken in 1987, the year he was thirty-nine, at Yonsei University's Sinchon campus. It is a record captured by photographer Koo Bon-chang at the filming site of director Bae Chang-ho.

Singer Jo Yong-pil also visited the mourning room that day to bid farewell to the deceased. After paying his respects, Jo Yong-pil appeared before the press, unable to hide his sorrowful expression. Jo Yong-pil and the late Ahn Sung-ki are known to be close friends and classmates from Kyungdong Middle School. Their bond, which even had their class numbers as 29 and 30, has continued even after both reached the pinnacle in their respective fields.
