HBO's controversial masterpiece 'Euphoria', which thrilled Generation Z around the world, is returning this April after a long silence of over three years. It is armed with a more intense and realistic story set five years after high school graduation.
According to HBO and foreign media on the 14th (Korean time), 'Euphoria' Season 3 is confirmed to be released in April 2026. Following the teaser video released the day before (13th), the official trailer will be unveiled today, igniting excitement for the comeback.
◆ Out of School Uniform and Five Years Later... Shocking Updates
The key theme of Season 3 is '5-Year Time Jump'. Showrunner Sam Levinson explained the background of the time leap, saying, "If they went to college, it would be the time of graduation." The synopsis released is shocking. The protagonist Rue (played by Zendaya) is living a dangerous life south of the Mexican border to pay off debts owed to drug dealer Laurie. Cassie (played by Sydney Sweeney) and Nate (played by Jacob Elordi) are depicted as an engaged couple struggling with social media addiction in the suburbs, while Maddy (played by Alexa Demie) has become a Hollywood talent agent, and Jules (played by Hunter Schafer) has transformed into an art student.

◆ From Hans Zimmer to Sharon Stone: A Star-Studded Lineup
The production team and cast lineup have also become glamorous. Master of film music Hans Zimmer joins to collaborate with Labrinth, who handled the existing music. The cast includes Sharon Stone as the showrunner, along with pop star Rosalía and actress Natasha Lyonne, adding weight to the drama. All existing main cast members are returning.
Francesca Orsi, head of HBO's drama division, hinted that fans may be both disappointed and excited, stating, "Viewers will be satisfied with how each character's narrative concludes," suggesting that this season could be the series finale.
