Rapper Pooh Shiesty (real name Lontrell Williams Jr.), who made a splash in the hip-hop scene with 'Back in Blood', has been rumored to have returned to jail, but this has been revealed to be a mere incident.
According to local media such as TMZ and AllHipHop on the 13th (Korean time), Pooh Shiesty's agency officially stated, "The rumor that he has been reincarcerated is not true." It has been confirmed that he is currently under home confinement, not in jail, while serving his federal probation period.
◆ The Truth About 'April 11, 2026'
The origin of this rumor began when DJ Akademiks checked the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) database. Fans misunderstood that he had been re-arrested after seeing that Pooh Shiesty's status indicated 'Release Date: April 11, 2026'.
In response, the agency dismissed this by stating, "That date is not a new sentence, but rather the already established end date of probation and supervision period." Currently, he is under home confinement as part of a 'Halfway House' program for social reintegration and is only under the management of the BOP.
DJ Akademiks also corrected himself after further confirmation, stating, "He is under the management of a social adjustment facility (Halfway House), not in jail."
◆ April, Full Freedom
Pooh Shiesty was sentenced to five years for conspiracy to possess firearms in 2022. After serving over four years, he was released early in October last year (2025) and announced his well-being by releasing the single 'FDO (First Day Out)' immediately after his release.
Reports of him being re-arrested in Dallas have been proven to be false. Hip-hop media outlet AllHipHop emphasized, "He has not returned to jail." Pooh Shiesty will gain full freedom if he adheres to the established rules until April 11, 2026.
