Netflix has released a heavy psychological thriller right at the start of the new year in 2026. Marvel's 'Valkyrie' Tessa Thompson and 'The Punisher' Jon Bernthal star as a couple who suspect each other over a murder case.

According to Netflix on the 9th (local time), the original limited series 'His Story & Her Story' was released worldwide on the 8th. This work, consisting of a total of 6 episodes, is based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Alice Feeney.

The drama is set in the small town of Dahlonega, Georgia. Successful TV news reporter Anna Andrews (Tessa Thompson) and detective Jack Harper (Jon Bernthal) are a separated couple in the midst of a divorce lawsuit. One day, while covering and investigating a murder case that occurred in the town, the two sense that they are deeply involved in the case and suspect each other, engaging in a fierce psychological battle.

While the original novel is set in a rural village in England, the Netflix series relocates it to the southern United States, adding a sticky and humid Southern Gothic atmosphere.
