Group BTS makes a glamorous return with their 5th studio album 'Arirang', showcasing the identity of Korea after a long silence of 3 years and 9 months.
On the 16th, their agency Big Hit Music officially announced through the fan platform Weverse that BTS's new album 'Arirang' will be released on March 20. This album is the first new release in approximately 3 years and 9 months since the anthology album 'Proof' released in June 2022, and it promises a deeper musical world through a total of 14 tracks.
The album title 'Arirang' symbolizes the roots and identity of BTS, who started in Korea and grew into a global artist. The agency explained, "The members focused on their inner stories ahead of their long-awaited comeback, reflecting universal emotions of longing and deep love in the representative Korean folk song 'Arirang.'" This is expected to resonate widely with fans around the world.
Along with the comeback, an unprecedented scale project will also be launched. BTS will kick off a new world tour on April 9 at Goyang Sports Complex, right after the album release. This tour is planned to be the largest in K-pop history, with 34 cities and 79 performances, and the introduction of a 360-degree stage to maximize audience immersion has been confirmed, raising expectations.
