Group BTS will kick off their new world tour at Goyang Sports Complex on April 9, 11, and 12, as announced by their agency Big Hit Music on the 14th.

⬦ 79 Shows in 34 Cities... Starting in Goyang, Celebrating Debut in Busan

BTS revealed the world tour poster and schedule on the fan platform Weverse at midnight on the 14th. This marks their first tour concert since concluding 'BTS Permission to Dance on Stage' in Las Vegas, USA, in 2022, approximately four years ago.

Starting in Goyang, BTS will perform 79 shows across 34 cities in North America, Europe, South America, and Asia. Big Hit Music stated, "This is the most shows for a single K-pop artist tour," adding that "the tour is expected to expand further with additional dates in Japan and the Middle East."

The Busan concert on June 12-13 is particularly noteworthy. June 13 is BTS's debut date, and it's rare for a K-pop top star to include a non-metropolitan area in their world tour schedule. Members Jimin and Jungkook, who are from Busan, will spend meaningful time in their hometown on their debut date.

⬦ Breaking into Stanford and El Paso... 'First' Records

BTS will also embark on a North American tour starting with the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on April 25-26. The North American schedule includes the Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso and the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, marking the first time a K-pop concert will be held in these cities, according to their agency.

Additionally, BTS will be the second act after Coldplay to hold a solo concert at Stanford Stadium in Stanford. They will also be the first Korean artists to perform at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, the world's largest dome stadium by capacity, and the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.

In June and July, BTS will head to Europe for 10 shows in 5 cities, including London and Paris. They will hold solo concerts in Madrid and Brussels for the first time. They will also visit 5 cities in South America, including São Paulo and Buenos Aires, and later expand their tour to the Middle East.

Big Hit Music emphasized, "This shows that BTS's popularity is not limited to specific regions but is spreading worldwide."

⬦ 360-Degree Stage and 5th Full Album... Overwhelming Confidence

BTS plans to offer an overwhelming immersive experience to the audience by applying a 360-degree stage in this tour. Typically, arranging the seats to surround the stage 360 degrees allows for a much larger audience. Implementing such seating arrangements in stadium-level performances indicates a strong audience draw.

Before the world tour, BTS will release their 5th full album, containing a total of 14 tracks, on March 20.
