WWE 'Royal Rumble' to be Streamed Live on Netflix... Available February 1 at 4 AM (KST)

The iconic event of the world's largest sports entertainment show, WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), is coming.

On the 30th, Netflix announced that it will broadcast live the legendary program 〈Royal Rumble〉 (Royal Rumble), one of WWE's five major events held annually since 1988, on February 1.

〈Royal Rumble〉 has been loved by fans worldwide for its unique match format that differentiates it from a typical battle royal. Two competitors start the match in the ring, and then, at set time intervals, the remaining participants enter in turn. In this event, 30 elite male and female athletes will compete fiercely to eliminate their opponents from the ring. With the harsh rule that any competitor touching the floor outside the ring is eliminated, the points of interest are the relentless battles of the competitors vying to be the last one standing and the potential appearance of unexpected 'surprise stars'.

In particular, 〈Royal Rumble〉 is referred to as the starting point of WWE's biggest event of the year, 'WrestleMania'. The final survivor here will not only headline the main event of 'WrestleMania' but also earn a championship opportunity. As the most important match of the year, a bloody competition and dramatic twists are anticipated like never before.
