The Jeonju International Film Festival has unveiled its official poster, embodying this year's aspirations.
On February 19, the Jeonju International Film Festival revealed the official poster for its 27th edition. Since 2020, the festival has been conducting a diverse graphic campaign inspired by the initial 'J' of Jeonju, and this official poster features the initial 'J' depicted with sharp graphics. This suggests the festival's direction of expanding the genres of art through new expressions and imagination, beyond existing symbols.
The official poster design was created by Kim Young-na, who works based in Berlin and Seoul, experimenting with the boundaries where the language of design meets the grammar of art, and expanding the possibilities of visual thinking through various media. It captures an attempt to evoke human warmth and cinematic sensibility in a highly developed technological environment through an analog production method utilizing tactile materials such as prints, paper, and objects.
The 27th Jeonju International Film Festival, which unveiled its official poster, will take place from Wednesday, April 29, to Friday, May 8.
