The film 〈My Name Is〉, officially invited to the Forum section of the 76th Berlin International Film Festival, has released its first trailer.

〈My Name Is〉 is a Korean film officially invited to the Forum section of the 76th Berlin International Film Festival, which runs from February 12 to 22 (local time), and is the latest work by director Jung Ji-young. It centers on an 18-year-old boy who wants to abandon a name that doesn't suit him and his mother, who must protect that name, as well as their journey to find the promise made on that day 50 years ago, presenting a generational mystery drama. Yeom Hye-ran stars in the film, raising expectations.

The trailer depicts the bickering between a son who dislikes his name Yeong-ok and his mother, as well as the process of the mother gradually regaining memories she couldn't recall from her childhood. In this process, the film's core subject, the Jeju 4.3 incident, is gradually revealed, bringing tears to the audience's eyes.

〈My Name Is〉 will officially begin its schedule as director Jung Ji-young and lead actors Yeom Hye-ran and Shin Woo-bin walk the red carpet at the opening ceremony of the 76th Berlin International Film Festival on the 12th. After the 'World Premiere' screening on the 13th, they will engage in a lively interaction with local audiences through a stage greeting and Q&A, and the film will officially be released in Korea in April.
