Malaysian-born actress Michelle Yeoh (Yang Tze-chung) has made a name for herself globally with films like 〈Everything Everywhere All At Once〉 and 〈Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon〉, and she has officially engraved her name on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

According to UPI and Variety on the 19th (local time), Yeoh officially entered the Hollywood Walk of Fame as the 2,836th star the day before in Los Angeles. The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a prominent landmark in LA that displays the names of stars who have made significant contributions in fields such as film, television, and pop music, engraved on star-shaped marble.

Yeoh expressed her overwhelming feelings, saying, "I remember the first time I went to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I wanted to visit it because all the people I admired since childhood were there. Now, it feels like a dream to have my name on that street."

Born in 1962 to a Chinese Malaysian family, Yeoh entered the entertainment industry after winning the Miss Malaysia pageant in 1983.

She gained popularity as an action star through the 〈Yes Madam〉 series and 〈Police Story 3〉 in the 1980s and 90s, and began to receive global attention with the 2000 film 〈Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon〉. She subsequently appeared in films like 〈Memoirs of a Geisha〉 and 〈Crazy Rich Asians〉, and in 2023, she made history as the first Asian actress to win the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in 〈Everything Everywhere All At Once〉, leaving a significant mark in Hollywood history.
