BTS, Regular 5th Album 'Arirang' Comeback Live Trailer Released… "We Will Walk Together as Seven"

The group BTS announced, "We believe that the seven of us can continue to walk this path together" ahead of the release of their regular 5th album 'Arirang' on the 20th.

BTS released the trailer for their comeback performance 〈BTS Comeback Live: Arirang〉 (BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG) through their official SNS at 5 AM on the 5th. The video begins with the cheers and shouts of their fandom 'ARMY' echoing from past concerts, conveying their heartfelt emotions as the members express, "We really miss you."

The video, set against the day and night scenes of Gyeongbokgung Palace, captivates viewers with the beauty of the members and traditional Korean architecture. Phrases like 'The world's top group is returning' and 'Witness their return' heighten the anticipation.

In the video, the members said, "We felt that something is changing one by one," and added, "We believe that the seven of us can continue to walk this path together and keep swimming forward." In particular, leader RM emphasized, "We promised to return to our fans."

The poster released along with the video features the silhouettes of the seven members standing in front of Gwanghwamun.

The comeback performance will take place at 8 PM on the 21st, the day after the album release, in the Gwanghwamun Square area of Seoul. Hamish Hamilton, who directed the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics and the Super Bowl halftime show in the U.S., will be the overall director, and it will be live-streamed worldwide on Netflix.

The title track of the new album, 'Swim', is a song that embodies the will to keep swimming forward without stopping in the waves of life. It conveys the message of calmly overcoming the incoming flow at one's own pace, expressed as 'a love for life', with RM participating in the lyrics to add authenticity.
