On the 5th, the distributor Showbox announced that Director Jang will hold a coffee truck event for citizens at noon on the 12th at the Seoul Newspaper Company Square in Jung-gu, Seoul. Director Jang will also have a time to communicate with citizens directly.

Director Jang explained the background of the coffee truck event during his appearance on SBS Power FM 〈Bae Seung-jae's Ten〉 the day before. He said, "Just between us, how can I keep all the promises I made?" and added, "It was a joke, and as an alternative, I will hold a coffee truck event for citizens in the city."

Jang Won-seok, the representative of the production company B.A. Entertainment, who appeared alongside him, also commented, "(Ten million viewers) was something I never imagined, so it was a joke; if there was even a slight possibility of achieving it, I wouldn't have said it soberly."

Previously, Director Jang had declared on the same program just before the film's release on the 1st of last month that he would undergo plastic surgery, change his name, naturalize, and hold a yacht party if 〈The King's Warden〉 surpassed ten million viewers. Although it was a joke, as the film is actually on a path to success and nearing ten million viewers, Director Jang has shifted to a small gratitude event.
