Hayelin Stars in 'Bridgerton 4', Netflix English Show Holds Global No. 1 for 4 Consecutive Weeks

The Netflix original series 〈Bridgerton 4〉, starring Korean actress Hayelin, has maintained its position as the most-watched English show by Netflix viewers worldwide for 4 consecutive weeks.

According to the official Netflix site Tudum's Top 10 tally on the 11th, from the 2nd to the 8th, 〈Bridgerton 4〉 had a view count (viewing time divided by runtime) of 13.1 million, ranking No. 1 in the English show category. By country, it ranked No. 1 in 76 countries including Argentina, Bolivia, and Brazil, and made it to the Top 10 in a total of 91 countries.

〈Bridgerton〉 is a flagship Netflix series set in 19th century British high society, depicting the journey of the 8 siblings of the Bridgerton family as they seek true love and marriage. Season 4 centers around the romance between the second son Benedict (played by Luke Thompson) and the maid Sophie Back (Hayelin). Hayelin, who plays the female lead Sophie Back, is known as a Korean-Australian and the granddaughter of actress Son Sook, drawing attention.

〈Bridgerton 4〉 ranked No. 1 in English shows for 2 consecutive weeks upon the release of Part 1 (Episodes 1-4) on January 29, and after the release of Part 2 (Episodes 5-8) on the 26th of last month, it again reached the top for another 2 consecutive weeks, continuing its 4-week reign at No. 1.
