SEVENTEEN Vernon and DK to Release Unit Album This June... Actively Participating in Lyrics and Composition

SEVENTEEN's Vernon and DK will form a new unit (subgroup) this summer and release an album.

A music industry insider stated on the 12th, "Vernon and DK are preparing a unit album aimed for release in June," adding, "Both members are actively participating in the album production as well."

This will be SEVENTEEN's sixth unit album following BSS, JeonghanXWonwoo, HoshiXWoozi, S.CoupsXMingyu, and DokyeomXSeungkwan.

Vernon has been a consistent contributor to lyrics and composition since his debut as a rapper in SEVENTEEN. He obtained regular member status in the Korea Music Copyright Association in 2024 and was selected as a voting member of the Recording Academy, which has voting rights for the Grammy Awards, last year.

DK is a Chinese member of SEVENTEEN's performance team, known for his outstanding dance skills. He has consistently released solo albums in China, including the mini-album 'STARDUST'. Vernon has collaborated with DK in the composition and lyrics of the title track 'Orbit' from 'STARDUST'.

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN is currently meeting fans worldwide with their new world tour 'NEW_', and they are scheduled to hold encore performances for the world tour at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on the 4th and 5th of next month.
