'A Combination You Can Trust' Bae Seung-jae and Park Ji-sung Set to Take the Stage as JTBC’s Broadcasters for the 2026 North Central America World Cup

Broadcasting personality Bae Seung-jae and a legend of Korean football Park Ji-sung will join forces once again at the 2026 North Central America World Cup. JTBC officially announced on the 27th that the two have been confirmed as the main broadcast team for its coverage of the 2026 North Central America World Cup.

As a result, Bae Seung-jae and Park Ji-sung will pair up in the World Cup broadcast booth for the third time following the 2018 Russia World Cup, and the 2022 Qatar World Cup. Anticipation is high that the perfect on-air chemistry built over years will shine once again in this tournament.

In addition to the main broadcast team, JTBC has assembled a solid lineup of analysts and casters. Lee Gwang-yong, Jung Yong-gum, Seung Seung-heon, Park Yong-sik, Yoon Jang-hyun, and Kim Yong-nam join as casters, while Kim Hwan, Park Ju-ho, Lee Ju-heon, Kim Dong-wan, Lee Hwang-jae, and Hwang Deok-yeon will serve as panelists, planning to deliver vivid and deeply informed atmosphere from the ground.

Meanwhile, the 2026 North Central America World Cup will kick off on June 11 (local time), and in Korea, KBS and JTBC will co-broadcast the tournament.

The Republic of Korea national football team was placed in Group A with Mexico, South Africa, and the Czech Republic. The team will challenge for their first group-stage win against the Czech Republic on June 12 at 11:00 a.m. Korea time.
