Faker and Karina have come together to share the joy of mobile gaming.
Short-Form Series to Highlight the Appeal of Mobile Games On May 15, Google Play announced that it will release a video for the ‘PLAY ON PLAY’ campaign featuring collaboration with professional gamer ‘Faker’ and ‘Karina’ of the K-pop group aespa. The ‘PLAY ON PLAY’ campaign video was produced as a total of five show-form series as part of a campaign designed to showcase the charm of mobile game play.
Unexpected Encounters in Everyday Life and Cross-Play Experiences Directed by the ‘Dolphin Hijacking Squad,’ this video depicts Faker and Karina enjoying games in everyday spaces such as libraries, bus stops, inside the subway, PC cafés, and coffee shops, repeatedly experiencing those chance encounters through mobile games. In the process, Google Play will also introduce a variety of game experiences—such as cross-play, which lets you continue playing mobile games on big screens like PCs and tablets via Google Play Games, as well as Google Play Points that provide richer rewards and items the more you enjoy the games.
YouTube Video Release and Seongsu-Dong Poster Campaign You can watch the campaign video starting today through Google Play Korea’s official YouTube channel. In addition, from today through May 17, you can find posters around the Seongsu area promoting ‘PLAY ON PLAY’ featuring ‘Faker’ and ‘Karina,’ and once you scan the QR code, you can check the campaign right away.
