An Overwhelming 100,000-Person Scale—Korea’s Biggest Indoor Festival “NOL FESTIVAL” Takes Off
This October, at “KINTEX” in Goyang, Gyeonggi, the mega music festival “NOL FESTIVAL” featuring a 100,000-person scale will kick off.
“NOL Universe” held a media day at Bluesquare in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 19th and declared the official launch of the festival. Running over two days from October 17 to 18 at “KINTEX”’s Hall 2, this event is expected to set a record as the largest indoor festival in Korea.
The stage lineup was designed around three core stages that break down boundaries between generations and genres.
A “Super Live Stage” that spans generations and genres
A “K-POP Stage” aimed directly at the global fandom
An “EDM Stage” that unleashes intense energy

A Host of Global Artists Join In, and a “K-POP” Spillover Effect Is Expected
The first lineup unveiled that day is nothing short of top-tier. Led by the national group “god” and the emotional band “NELL”, superstar artists including “Lee Mujin”, “WOODZ”, “Ha Sung-woon”, and “NMIXX” all join the bill in force. In addition, the world-renowned EDM artist “Alan Walker” as well as “Kim Ha-on” and now-aim-young also heat up the stage.
“NOL Universe” introduced a bold operating approach to minimize cost burdens for audiences. Some performances are conducted via free invitation; attendees can obtain entry passes through participating in various missions or via NOL services. Paid stages are also set up separately for audiences who want to focus on watching specific artists or preferred genres. Detailed ticket application and sales schedules will be announced on the 8th next month through the official website and social media.
Choi Dong-hwi, the TF leader of “NOL Universe”, said, “Foreigners will make up at least 10% of all attendees,” adding, “The powerful cultural asset of “K-POP” is expected to create enormous economic spillover effects across related industries overall, including lodging and shopping.”
NOL Universe CEO Lee Chul-woong said, “We plan to expand the various fun experiences previously offered in online spaces into an offline festival, and communicate directly with customers,” and shared his ambition to, “lead a new play culture that everyone can enjoy comfortably.”
