'Resident Evil: Night of the 0th,' Set for September Release…Teaser Poster Featuring an Original Story

A teaser poster for 〈Resident Evil: Night of the 0th〉 has drawn attention as it returns with a brand-new story.

〈Resident Evil: Night of the 0th〉 is a horror thriller that follows the harrowing night of a medical delivery driver who gets pulled into an endless survival race without even realizing it, drawing from a game known in South Korea as 'Biohazard.' Separate from the previously film-adapted 〈Resident Evil〉 series, the new installment is said to include a story created specifically for film.

The two teaser posters released on May 29 symbolically capture the film's horror. In the 'Shadow' teaser poster, something with a bizarre human shape appears on a road with only one lane, revealed through a vehicle's headlights. The 'City' teaser poster shows the entire city collapsing as if it has fallen apart, with fog blanketing a snowy landscape. Together, they leave audiences looking forward to the chilling and intense 〈Resident Evil: Night of the 0th〉.

Directed by Zach Cregger, who has been opening a new chapter of horror with works such as 〈Weapon〉 and 〈Barbarian〉, his new film 〈Resident Evil: Night of the 0th〉 is set to hit theaters in September.
