Actors Kang Gi-young, Park Hae-mi and Kim Gi-cheon have joined the film 〈Wild Thing〉 for special and guest appearances. Distributor Lotte Entertainment released character stills and introduced their roles on the 1st.
The film 〈Wild Thing〉 is a comedy about Triangle, a three-member coed dance group that once disbanded at the height of its music career and is attempting a comeback 20 years later. The three actors appear as characters who stand in the way of Triangle's comeback, shaking up the story.
Kang Gi-young will make a special appearance as Na Tae-poong, a former member of the dance group Megaton who is now a variety-show star. In the film he forms a rivalry with Triangle's leader Hyun-woo (Kang Dong-won). Park Hae-mi will also make a special appearance as Do-mi's (Park Ji-hyun) chaebol mother-in-law, a character who uses a tablet PC to micromanage and harass her daughter-in-law from afar. Kim Gi-cheon makes a guest appearance as Go Sajang, a private lender. He pressures Sang-gu (Um Tae-goo) as he tries to recover the investment in Sang-gu's solo album, showing a colder side rather than his usual upbeat image.
The film 〈Wild Thing〉 is directed by Son Jae-gon and produced by About Film, and stars Kang Dong-won, Um Tae-goo, Park Ji-hyun and Oh Jung-se. The film opens in theaters nationwide on Wednesday, June 3.
