〈David〉’s domestic dubbing cast has drawn attention.

Animated feature 〈David〉 tells the story of how an ordinary shepherd named David comes to face the fate of a king, from the moment it begins with his mother’s song to his confrontation with the giant Goliath who struck fear into the world. The film has generated buzz for setting the biggest opening record for any religious animated film ever, surpassing the achievements of 〈King of Kings〉.

〈David〉 unveiled the lineup for its Korean-language dubbing on June 5. First, Park Bo-gum takes the role of David, while Jang Kwang plays the prophet Samuel who leads David. David’s mother, Niziveth, is voiced by Cha Ji-yeon, King Saul by voice actor Song Jun-seok, and Goliath by voice actor Si-young-jun—forming an ultra-luxurious lineup. In particular, Park Bo-gum is taking on animation dubbing for the first time since his debut, offering a glimpse of his passion.

The film 〈David〉 will open in theaters nationwide on July 15.
