〈Ice Age〉 returns with a fresh story, meeting audiences in 2027.
The 〈Ice Age〉 film series is an animated franchise that began with 〈Ice Age〉 in 2002 and has followed the stories of Manny the mammoth, Sid the sloth, and Diego the smilodon. Drawing on the popularity of five feature-length animated films along with multiple spin-offs and shorts, 〈Ice Age〉 has confirmed the release of the new installment, 〈Ice Age 6: Volcano Eruption〉, in 2027.
〈Ice Age 6: Volcano Eruption〉 is set to take viewers on a new journey into a perilous unknown world where volcanoes and lava await. The poster revealed alongside the release confirmation shows that the original trio and their families return in full, hinting at how they will bring back memories and fun for audiences. The image also captures the look of Scrat, the series' mascot—a saber-toothed squirrel—raising expectations even more.
Featuring voice performances by Ray Romano, Denis Leary, John Leguizamo, Simon Pegg, and Queen Latifah, 〈Ice Age 6: Volcano Eruption〉 will be available in South Korean theaters in 2027.
