'A Killer Paradox' Kids Author Kkomabi Returns With Thriller New Work 'Decalcomanie'

The original creator of 'A Killer Paradox' — the work that swept the world and clinched Netflix's top spot in non-English markets — and 'Kkomabi' zeroes in on audiences again with a chilling psychological thriller.

Jaedam Media, a powerhouse in webtoons, said that on the 16th it began the official serialization of 'Decalcomanie', an ambitious new work by author Kkomabi, through the reading platform 'Millie's Library'.

In 'Decalcomanie', two men with no connection to each other draw each other's lives together from the depths of the unconscious, woven into a perfect symmetric structure by drawing on decalcomania, an art technique.

A shocking incident in which a husband brutally murders his wife triggers the story's action. After that, 'Kim Ji-hoon', who hides behind normalcy, and 'Kim Hoon-ji', who shows extreme, neurotic reactions toward others, have their paths cross in a strange way, overwhelming readers with relentless suspense.

This new work is a traditional 'crime thriller' that concentrates the author Kkomabi's signature meticulous psychological depictions and unpredictable tricks. He previously proved an unmatchable original world view through 'A Killer Paradox', 'S Line', 'Miseol', and more.

In particular, 'A Killer Paradox' won the 2011 Today’s Our Webtoon Awards, then was reborn as a 2024 Netflix original series and recorded a global mega-hit.
